This is a tune written in London, July 1988. I had pulled out of working in an American Summer Camp near Boston & reunited with my girlfriend Louisa, who had travelled on ahead. I’d had intentions of making friends at the Camp & travelling round the U.S. but things didn’t work out. The change of plans to travel through England, Scotland & Ireland helped to cement my relationship with Louisa and led to us getting married five years later and having a family.
